See the little tab in the bottom middle? It can lay flat with the side, or pop up to act as a divider in the AP2 center console. Supposedly as the worst idea for a cup holder ever some form of cup holder.

Searches for How to draw an S2000 did not return good results

Yeah the popup divider has never worked great. I don't know when mine died - seems like it worked fine one day and then floppy the next. Will have them take a look when it goes in for service next time, not sure if anything can be done other than replacement but can't hurt to check.
