It is a Holden Ute imported from Australia. Rumor says it was imported without a drive line. A US spec drive line from a Pontiac G8 was installed, along with a left hand drive conversion.

Pontiac was close to bringing this over when GM pulled the plug.

More info from a local car enthusiast forum:

My dad spoke to the guy who owns this the other day in Brockport after I told him about it.

He said the guy was a super nice dude and everything was done legally. This isn't a conversion purchased from Phoenix. The only main conversion was the conversion from right hand to left hand drive and the G8 drivetrain and interior parts. He did the work himself and it is legally titled in NY.
