Pic of the Day - Take Two!
#1521
35 here this morning, but I still took the S out to get balloons for my dads 64th birthday. Got some pretty strange looks as I tried to force 10 balloons into the passenger side of my car.

Would have been crazier looking to see you driving down the road, top down, with 10 balloons flying all over the place

Last Thursday I saw my 1st flock of Robins, and the Sunday prior I saw a Red Winged Blackbird at Mom's
Sunday was not so nice for sure, nor was today, but buds poking up through the ground make me happy and hopeful

Signs of hope Winter is passing and will soon be gone
I wish though I could tell you what they are...
The lady who lived here before had no methodology of planting
Where ever she could bend over she planted something
I have half a dozen mysteries in the front bed, and I can never remember what sprouts up where
So for now, what ever it is, I find it encouraging
I'll take what I can get
And yes, right now those little suckers are under snow

Tons of birds this weekend at my girlfriend's parents house on Cape Cod, red winged blackbirds, 2 different kinds of finches and some cardinals among others.
And now starting tonight, another foot of snow here, bye bye any early signs of spring
