SSR Professor SP1 18" wheels in the Super Black Coat finish with chrome/carbon fiber center caps and chrome valve stems.

Ordered! Saved over $400 off MSRP ordering from my connection.

Won't be here until late March because they come to the U.S. on a container ship direct from Japan.

If you got the same offset as those pictured, they won't fit without serious fender modification and camber. Those look like +20 or below.

18x8 +45 front, 18x9 +62 rear.

Believe me, before I spent almost $3,600 I did a ton of research and talked to other S owners and the owner of a speed shop to be more than certain that these wheels will fit.

That picture was just the best one I could find to post.

18x8 +45 will likely rub your fender liner up front on the track. My +48 offset rubs with a 225 tire. Are they just show wheels or all purpose?

All purpose.

I could always go back to the stock 215 tire in the front.

A fellow s2k owner runs 18x8 +51 in the front and doesn't rub.

Is +45 that much different? I'm sorry I don't fully understand this offset crapola

My "new" pickum up truck!
2000 Toyota tundra, 4.7 v8 145k, runs like a champ!

Very nice. Congrats

Did you get a killer deal on this too?

Do you still have the Accord? Will you use the truck to pick up clients or will you continue to use the Odyssey for that?
This was a little more than the accord, but it was a good deal. Tom has the accord.. His insight got totaled so I pretty much gave it to him till he gets back on his feet I guess. The odyssey and pilot are still used to pick up my clients although I CAN put quite a few "clients" in the back of that tundra!!

It means your wheel sticks out 6 mm further than his. +51 means that the hub mounting surface is 51mm from the centerline of the wheel. Does that owner have Eibach springs and track the car? I never even come close to rubbing on the street, but when you're up on curbing taking sweepers at 90 mph the forces on the suspension are way beyond what you'll find on the street.

Dont' get me wrong, it wont rub much (maybe not at all), but you could chew through fender liner clips each track day. I've never had a big problem with it, just giving you a heads up.

Thanks for that Mike, it helps to understand the potential issues.

Would going back to the 215 tire from the 225 help that issue?

Is there the potential of cutting down a tire or will it just rub on the fender liner clips?

I ran 245 Hoosiers on the stock front AP1 wheels when I was autocrossing my S. Replacing worn out fender liner clips was a yearly thing. That was with stock springs.
