Here is my latest feeder
It's about 95% done, here is what's left to do
- need to add the screen on the bottom of the tray, the screen holds the seed, but lets the rain pass through
- need to add the threaded rod up through the center to hold it all together
I love building bird houses and feeders

I found a tube that was 18" tall, not 13" like the old one, so I decided I needed to revise the top design so it will be more than enough to carry the extra weight
This top now includes a piece of 3/16" thick steel bar stock...
That is one little overbuilt top...
When it comes to Cedar and outdoors, I use a lot of extra glue and I don't worry about seepage
The dark stuff on the joints and corners is a top quality exterior wood glue, Titebond III, just love the stuff
Man I wish the paint would dry faster...

The Ford and Chevy people are up in arms now
You painted a Ford a Chevy color
IF
- Spa yellow was not available in 2002
- Monte Carlo Blue was available in the USA in 2002
THEN
- I would have had a blue S2000
AND
- I blame that reasoning on the fact that my 1st Honda, GEN1 Accord Hatchback, built in Japan not Ohio, was an amazing shade of blue, much like Aash's S, and I loved that little Accord!
