Christ, I've bought 10 new and used Honda cars newer than 2002 since 2002, and they are fun, dependable, and a great value. I come here to share that enthusiasm with like minds.
Not all were super pleasing to the eye, but I got more on trade for 3 of them than what I paid.
And they didn't look to me like the guy on the left.

Apparently some folks agree with your opinion on the looks of the Veloster
This car is called the Veloster -- as in "velocity." With it's coupe-like look and blacked-out window pillars, it's designed to resemble a motorcycle helmet.

(This line cracked me up)>You might notice that it also resembles a doorstop. Actually, that's appropriate because, while this car has it's good points, speed is not among them.

The Veloster, ironically, feels like one of the most underpowered cars I've driven in years. Not as in "Gee, it would be nice if this car had a little more guts," but as in, "Is something wrong?"

Veloster - looks fast, goes slow

And yes I posted this in two places.

Just giving Doug a little

Different strokes....

Years ago, the Twilight Zone had an episode.

The patient has had her surgery and her face is all wrapped up. She's desparate to change her looks to conform to society's idea of beauty. The doctors are hopeful. Much discussion is had about the surgery, the doctors' hopes for success and the girl's desparation for beauty.

So we come to the last scene. The final bandage comes off but the doctors are mortified to see that the surgery was a failure. The girl says what's wrong and the doctors give her the bad news.

The camera pans back and we see the patient and the doctors for the first time. The patient is a beautiful young blond. The doctors look like pigs.

--- And Vincent Van Gogh died a pauper. ---
I remember that episode.
Levi

So whether it's one's "hatchback of choice" or any other car, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In my view, the world's a big enough place for differences of opinions without condemnation or rancor.
well said

Two free lessons I learned by going to court on Monday mornings:

1) don't ever get into fights (whether over women, sports, cars or parking spaces); and

2) if you're from out of town on a sales trip, don't ever, ever, ever go back to the girl's apartment. - you know, the girl that you just met in the local gin joint. Those girls tend to have jealous ex-husbands, and since you're from out of town, you'll need to call your boss and wife for help posting the bond after all the arrests when he storms into the apartment to beat you up!
