The one I had was also white but an earlier model I believe.
No real front bumper to speak of.
Sold my 69 Z28 and bought that!
Wet roads were kind of tricky as I remember with the light front end.
I needed a new muffler and went to Monroe.
They came out with 4 turned up tips out the back and asked me if I really wanted a system like that!
Of course I did... they looked really cool!

Very cool that you got another one of those. It looks good on your car. Do be wary driving around though. I'd hate to see you have to spend for a fourth.

You ain't kidding! at $380 a pop they aren't cheap but it really does look good!

And yes with each mishap I'm learning more about what to keep an eye out for and what to avoid.

Not sure yet. I'm still ironing out the kinks in the new hardware plus I'm leaving for St. Louis on business 3 AM this morning. Plans are to fly home Friday if everything goes ok. I'll be there if I'm home and the forecast is clear. No rain for me this time. By the way, really wish I was able to see Senna with you.

I liked the '74s with the "bumperettes", or no bumpers at all on the X1/9. The big bumpers took away some of the looks of the car.
