I went to a wedding in Florida in 2005, and I saw this sitting on a used Truck Lot! I stopped and had the wife take a picture!

Before the licence plate was invented, there used to be a thriving profession of craftsmen that woul paint your number on the car for you. It had to be a certain shade of black with white text on it.

Even when licence plates came standard on cars, one would always go visit a painter with the Certification of Registration, so they would paint the licence number on it for you. oh! and you can leave your car there and go back to pick it up once they are done.

By comparison, here in the US, we are spoilt silly. You walk in with documents + fees and walk out with plates.

Bumper repair

BEFORE:

AFTER 1:

AFTER 2:

DONE BY:

It looks like a brand new bumper! Now I have a few touch ups that are really noticeable on other parts of the car dammit!

Car cover back on tonight, but supposed to be GORGEOUS on Sunday... I feel a long top down ride coming up!

Wow! Looks good.. I'd love to get my front and rear bumpers redone... and then I could justify a CR lip.
