Let me get this straight...

NASCAR doesn't drive in the wet for safety reasons, but they DO drive around with vehicles on the track containing gallons of highly flammable jet fuel?

Ellen, play with your tire pressures, I have found the Hankooks like air, I'm running like 34 front and 36 back, and have A- lots of grip and B- nice even wear
+1 on that. I found better grip with higher pressures on the RS-2s as well.
hey , is that because of the lower tread rating of the RS-3s and consequently wouldn't all tires with a tread rating equal to the RS-3 need higher tire pressure than dictated??
Honestly, I suspect it has something to do with sidewall construction
I hear over and over from people "oh man, your tire pressures are way too high".
Blah, blah, blah... in my book, those people have not been to the track where a street tire might be run up to 40psi so what the hell do they know...
I think the extra pressure helps to firm up the sidewall which make the tire squirm less, which I think is what leads to the better feel and grip.
I have also read for years people complaining about the Hankook's soft sidewall, and yup, blah, blah, blah to that as well.
Their damnn sidewalls are probably soft because because the tires are f'ing under-inflated...
And one more thing about the R-S2 and the R-S3, at least with my suspension settings and my pressures, holy crap to they wear even and flat, the S-02's never did that with my huge ass negative rear camber.

Awesome tires, if I were to go with 225/50-16 on the rear of this car, the would be no other tire than an R-S3

It's a throwback to their days of running moonshine in the trunk
