And this factoid makes me want to hurl
To me it sounds like this dog show is rather screwed up, or more correctly, there are too many judges who have their heads stuck in the sand, or stuck someplace else...

Here are some examples (not an exhaustive list) of breeds from each group that have never won the Westminster show:
Sporting: Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Spinone Italiano, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon.
Hound: Basset Hound, Greyhound, Irish Wolfhound, Saluki.
Working: Alaskan Malamute, Bernese Mountain Dog, Great Dane, Great Pyrenees. Oh, and also the Portuguese Water Dog, breed of President Obama's "first dog," Bo.
Terrier: Cairn Terrier, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Miniature Schnauzer, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier.
Non-sporting: Chinese Shar-Pei, Chow Chow, Finnish Spitz, Schipperke.
Herding: Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Welsh Corgi (Cardigan or Pembroke), Shetland Sheepdog.

Yellow lab right?
Nice looking animal
Here is my next cat, it's a Savannah, ver rare still, and exotic as hell
Recent cross between wild African Serval and a domesticated Bengal
Now this cat will indeed scare people...

Im not a fan of the Pekingese or most tiny dogs but all power to their owners. I must admit I have come across several small dogs that I have grown to admire.
I think dogs of any size are fun (for their owners). We are just hating as we hate on ricers.
Anyone that says a Cocker Spaniel or a Beagle is not a real dog because it is small is only speaking from the experience of not having been close to one IMHO. Whats next? pick on Pitbulls because people train them to be aggressive and fight

These guys love, and I mean LOVE water!
Savannahs are highly intelligent cats, and are given the nickname of «dog-cats» due to their personality. They can be walked with a leash, they love car rides and really thrive on fetching their favorite toys. Savannahs love water, they can even jump into the bath or take a shower with you. Their fur is like velvet and they hardly lose any hair. They have a lot of energy and are very playful.
