Great photos Lainey!
We have rain and almost 50 degrees today. 40+ the rest of the week, should take care of the white stuff we got.
Tom drove the Fit for papers the day it snowed and give the Hakkapelitas

Ok, well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here we go, I just saved 2,000
Apparently when Ganzo went in for his bath the last week of December too much water or something got in his left ear, I noticed Tuesday evening he seemed to be shaking his head a lot, Wednesday he was still doing it as well as scratching, ok, not good, something is going on. I called Thursday morning very early and was amazed to find out the vet could take us in that day, at 6:30 in the evening. OMG! A company that understands people work during the day, WTF, amazing...
So I ran him down there last night, the took a swab from both ears, the vet did not like the stuff from his left ear and said hold on, I'll be right back, I want to look at this under the microscope. Wow, I'm impressed, the vet is using cold hard science facts, how cool is that. Sure enough, a few minutes later she pops back in and says yup, a mild bacteria infection, here is some good for his ear, he'll be fine.
So $132 for the shave and bath and a rabies shot. I thought the $132 was a great price because I know like hell I was not interested in giving him a bath. However, last night was $96 for the health inspection, diagnostic and medicine. I'm not bothered by spending the $96 on my buddy, but I am a bit bothered by the fact that he most likely got the infection from the bath. I think I need to call the vet that did the bath and let them know, they must be more careful with water in the ears!!!
Ok, so now, the pics... don't laugh too hard
As you can see, he was pissed at being taken to the vet
And then he just got down right mad after that temperature probe went up his butt
And how cool is this, the vet said "that's the biggest cat I have ever seen" she made my week!
