Ellen, I happened to see "Fizoust" post in the status updates that he's looking for a set of stock AP1 wheels.

Maybe he likes chrome.

Before - shiny and peeling

On the car - I always thought they made the car look cheap - shiny wheels yelling "look at me!"

New wheels all cleaned up and ready to go - not THAT much different at first glance

But what a difference on the car... close up on the wheels

And the "money shot" - thanks Jeff @ Formula H for the great rate, and Vinny of course did a great job with the install.

I swear the car even drives better with the new pretty wheels

The new wheels made my tires look like crap, I went immediately to go buy tire clean and shine right from the shop

Looks a whole lot better E. Not that the old wheels were bad. But these are so much better.

The old wheels were FUGLY! They bothered me more than the crack in the bumper They were alot more noticeable than that was. I have not been this happy about anything since I bought the actual car

That's the idea I did not like having non conforming wheels

OK, I have the "buy S stuff" bug bad I'm going to call East Park and ask them to keep an eye open for a blue top

You know what. That S2000 is pretty because its in your hands. It could have the fugliest wheels and still appeal more to me than a Miata. I can still vividly recall the air of anticipation and expectation as you took off to that Acura Dealership in Jersey. Several of us on the forum were rooting for you and towards nightfall were happy to see you back in an S2000.

The wheels never mattered to me, what mattered was seeing you in the car giggling to yourself as you drive along (like Tom says)
