With tape has always been a better look to me
There is so much black trim already around the windshield, when you remove the tape you are left with such a small surface area it just looks out of proportion to me, like a dainty little trim piece around the glass. Maybe it is the extreme contrast of the yellow, but I look at that pic without the tape and it feels to me like the car was not built strong enough.

The only NSX's I ever liked were the earlier more original design with the complete black canopy like a fighter jet
I guess this is why I have always preferred the black tape
