Pic of my Dad running at the VRG event at the glen 2 weeks ago. We went down and watched on a rather dreary Saturday.

It was a nice event, much smaller than the SVRA Vintage Grand Prix but still well attended. On Friday and Sunday on a dry track he finished 5th, but in the rain on Saturday he won his race Very cool that the whole family was there for that run.

So that's it. Snowed, salted, and season over too abruptly. I haven't been around for long but 2011 is the most miserable year for weather in memory. Kicked off with the worst winter in 25 years, had virtually no spring with temperatures in the 40s still into the third week of April, May rained like crazy, summer besmirched by wrecked roads courtesy of a tropical storm that had no business anywhere near us, and then snow won the race to the ground over the autumn leaves. I'm disgusted reflecting over what the skies brought us during the past ten months and depressed thinking about the next six, so this will prove to be my last contribution for a while. It was captured by a friend last weekend and is my favorite photograph of the car ever. As unkind as nature was to us, it couldn't stop me from stealing a few absolutely perfect moments with the s2k. Pictured below is one of them.

Hope you guys had yours.
