Default Only had it a little over a month...

I rear ended some lady today! Woohoo!

Argh, I was sitting at a stop light in the left only turning lane with some lady with a broken tail light in front of me. I'm talking to shody with the top down and general having a nice time. The light turns green and the lady in front of me starts to go, so I start to go and I have a quick glance to the left just to make sure everyone is actually stopping. Apparently that was a bad idea. The lady that was in front of me with no turn signal on was lost I guess, because as I was glancing left she decided she wanted to slam on her brakes.....and have me go right up her ass. She slammed on her brakes because she wanted to make a right hand turn in the left turn only lane, and after I hit her ass, guess where she went...she turned right and just kept on going. I watched her from the side of the road as she drove down and hopped on the thruway.

So, Ellen, what kinda work does Formula H do exactly?

Some pics of the damage:

Well, idk, i think with her broken tail light, lack of turn signal, and wrong lane, some fault might be hers. But yeah, for fear of it being entirely my fault (which it is) I'm not going through insurance. Few hundred bucks and I should be back in business.

With a new bumper you should be able to get the car looking good as new.

Joel, I posted in the thread at s2kca before I saw this one. I can get you the number of a good and reasonable body shop in Howells if you are interested, the guy did the restoration on Brian's S600.

I was thinking the same thing about you being lucky she did not stop. Even thought she was obviously the one to cause the accident I am pretty sure anytime you hit another car from behind it's YOUR fault regardless of the actual situation.

This is pretty cool, I don't think I had ever come across the article before but it details alot of the S600 story...

Im sorry that this happened to you, but glad that it is not very serious or expensive damage. I hope you get your S fixed up soon.
