Not very sure Jake. It will depend on the weather and some other things that may crop up. Will try to post here though at least an hour before I head out, in case you want to come. I wont be driving the S2000 tomorrow though.

I can imagine that this news comes as a body blow, but try your best to have fun without me.
alas the drive will not be the same sans "The Shirt", nevertheless we shall soldier on

Have fun at the reunion Jeff...and don't feel too left out in case the ladies get too engrossed in conversation

^ yep! I love the Subie when some of the roads are in no shape even for my Si.

Besides I try to avoid driving the S in the rain because I hate the cleaning up part of it.

who would in turn promptly hire a "fancypants" News Editor like me to write the script and which opportunity I shall use to portray Disgruntled Publicus as the main villain, the Prof. Moriarty in the lives of the two friends

That other little girl married the straightest arrow in the world! He was so straight that he went to work for the FDA, approving and regulating the drugs that come to market.

Now my brother -- you would never, ever consider him to be a straight arrow.

So about six or seven years ago, my brother has a scheme to buy drugs in Thailand and sell them over the internet in the U.S.. This wouldn't be just the Viagra and Cialis substitutes that are so readily available today. No it would be real drugs that real people need - things like Darvon, Percocet - you know, whatever the drug of choice is for Hollywood stars and rock stars.

So when my brother tells me the scheme -- it was really on the up and up, believe me! He even had a doctor lined up in Thailand who would write out a prescription (in English) that would come in the name of the buyer when the drugs arrived. What about a personal visit to and examination by the doctor, you ask? No problemo. My brother had designed an on-line questionaire to be filled out when you ordered your drugs (answer sheets with the "correct" aznswers were extra $$$). That was a sufficient health record in Thailand for the "prescribing" physician. But I've digressed ...

So when my brother tells me the scheme, I think that we need an inside man at the FDA - if for no other reason than to warn us when our operation was going to be raided by the FBI, CIA, ATF and Homeland Security. (I was sure this might be viewed as a drugs for money for guns operation.)

So we make a little trip down to Washington D.C. and have lunch with the friend's husband. The sun is over the yardarm so I offer to order us up some adult beverages. The straight arrow orders iced tea! We make idle chit chat for a while and then I relate the details of my brother's plan, paying particular emphasis how it is all legit because the drugs will be prescribed by a physician.

Well the straight arrow's coloring starts to change. He face gets a little bit of a red hue (which I attribute to his iced tea). But when I tell him that we need an FDA "man on the inside", he goes from red to green. The luncheon ends abruptly -- I guess I must have been excited and talking too loud (next time I'll plan the meeting for out-of-town).

So without a man on the inside, the plan never got off the ground. And then my brother lost heart when one of his prospective competitors operating out of the Albany area got raided and shut down by the FBI.

Now, given the harsh regulatory environment prohibiting extraction and research on stem cells, my brother's probably trying to work the angle of getting into the third world stem cell trade.

Are you thinking, maybe, an "as told to" book written by Disgruntled Publicus?

Forget it! He could never stand the criticism expected from his [former] friend, that Mr. Senior News Editor.
