Default New to Upstate NY forum

Well, it looks like I'll be hanging around this forum a lot more now that the NE forum is gone. Seems like a few of the NE people couldn't behave like adults and got the whole thing shut down for everyone. Ridiculous... So, hello to you all Hopefully I can come across the lake to meet some of you at least once before the snow flies.

That's fine, welcome, make yourself at home, the water is warm.

And just so we are all clear, I have already contacted the admins, there are going to be plenty of eyes on Upstate, even during the weekend, and as per my direction, if any of the typical NE BS creeps into this forum, posts will start getting deleted. I will not put up with the crap. Period.

As in Lake Champlain?

Many, many, many years ago, in fact it was the inaugural race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, I took the ferry across the lake in my '87 CRX-Si. That was just so cool. I'm so sorry I never got around to doing the Roch-Toronto Fast Ferry.

I'm certainly not new here but, unfortunately, a lot of the meets on your side of the lake are too far me to attend easily. The ones that are close never seem to work out for me. But my buddy Ellen is here so it must be a good place to hang .For what it's worth Triple-H, your name was brought up in NE as a CO that runs a tight ship and as an example of how to run things correctly so to you.

Hi Jim, good to see you posting here. Lainey claims the NE forum will be down for a week.
Your buddy across the pond,
