Need Attorney in Albany Area
Town of Schodrack in Castleton, NY (NYS thruway on east side of Hudson River) has trooper prosecute vs. DA. Can't plea out over phone. Sure this is way to increase revenue for the town. Need to show up. If I'm going up to fight, I want to win. Need Attorney with experience in this town traffic court.

A while ago, I had to fight a speeding ticket. Just look them up in the yellow pages. There are attorneys that specialize in auto cases (dwi, speeding, etc).
That incident, I had a potential of 6 points to be added, but it was reduced with the help of the attorney to a non-moving violation. The lawyer cost me $250 at the time, but I think it was worth it. I still had to pay a small fine to the freaking court.
Ummm - don't you have a Valentine 1??? I thought you did. Were you going *that* fast? Did he use instant on? Laser? I know some NYS troopers use laser.

Was a Friday afternoon about 2:30pm heavy traffic and I just got a opening from behind some dirt spewing semi's. Trooper used trigger activated Laser gun. I don't think he got clean shot on me as I was in a pack of fast movers and Laser has limited distance. Who was your Atty.? his/her #?

I don't even remember his name or number, it was a few years ago. This guy was local to the Rochester area anyway. Just look them up in the yellow pages for your area.
The situation you got nabbed in definitely sucks. You poke out a bit fast for just a sec. and bam! Really unfair. I've done a lot of research into radar and laser speed detection. Laser is pretty accurate.
You definitely need an attorney on this one, especially if you were going faster than 25mph over. The attorney can help you argue your case (i.e. You wanted to simply speed up to pass the dirt spewing semi so to avoid paint chips and you intended to slow back down. You can even show the attorney the existing chips as proof and said you kept on hearing little rocks hitting your car and you just wanted to pass the truck and that was all - you didn't intend on continue to speed). All of that would sound better if it came from an attorney than from you.
