Very PG 13. The thread title had me thinking you had an R or NC 17 hellish evening

Isn't Mark the best?

Yup. It was a whorebag as Hogan would say.
There was something weird and disturbing about that one.
And it did stink of gas underneath.
Honestly, if I was shopping, and white was a color I would consider, I would have walked away from that car even if the top was not ripped. The more I thought about it, the more uncomfortable about it I got.

Yes, I was Jeff's 1st look reviewer, something I was happy to do, it just so happened to be during the evening when we were getting some extremely nasty lake effect, thus all the drama.

Really I was trying to set my friend up with a quality car...mine, and lets me change color. I always had a penchant for GPW with the red or red/black interior.
The funky GPW made us take a pause and evaluate the transaction too.
Together we war-gamed through some what-ifs and realized it's probably better that long time (approx 38years) great friends shouldn't engage in the used car business amonst themselves. Even though my car is fresh and solid... what if something silly and unforseen happens?
Friendship strained? For a few bucks? It's not worth it...

Jeff, you might set a record for being the first to have purchased 5 S2000s if you do indeed get a GPW.

Its one reason I avoid buying from friends and family.
