Default Moving to New York

Hello All,

I may be moving to Fishkill, NY for a job possibility. Are there any recommendations on protecting the underside from road salt?

Thanks!

Welcome. Get a winter beater if you can and park the S2000 for the winter. You will be happier.

While we have some folk that drive their car year round, I'm not sure how much an underbody spray and regular car washes will go towards keeping the car free of salt & grime.

And you will need snow tires as well. Quite a few owners around Fishkill as well and we'd be glad to have you. When do you plan on moving here?

Yes, best advice is to invest in a 2 car system! That way you also have a way to keep the miles down from running stupid errands year round AND keeping your baby out of the rain My s2k seems to love the garage lol

Any thing you drive in salt will get ruined no matter how frequent the car washes... Fishkill is not THAT far from me and several other owners down this way... you will be expected to attend my local group drives when you are not working

Hopefully soon - his "location" says he is living in his S

Something I am always prepared to do if the need arises

Hey Ellen, how did you get rid of the gender listed under member name?

And now I see it back I really don't care - just some consistency would be good
