I'm all for having another S2000 at KSRT, but this would be too cool.

Mark & Aashish,

I am seriously considering doing so. Aashish & I took a scouting trip and watched the group 1 races last September to see how I might fare. The big problem is whether the MGA will be running in September. Mechanical malfunction and crashes earlier in the season may prevent my running. So, I will probably make a hotel reservation and sign up for Knapp just to hold my place in the event the car doesn't run. If I race in lieu of Knapp, I assume someone will happily take my place.

Did not mean to be critical.
I know. Did not take it as such.

I have to say that I agree with that. It would be cool if you managed to drive the MG A at WGI Jeff. Think about it, you'd have a full pit crew and a whole section of fans waving to you as you go through the bus stop.
Me too! Plus you could drive the old course with the rest of the vintage racers and get to park it right on the main road after your laps.

I'd love to go up to the track on Saturday and help out as well.

Start of the Group 1 Qualifying Race (with some Group 1 carnage).
