Great choice. I researched catbacks for months before deciding on the Q300 and love it. My full review can be read here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=792571

Only complaint was the fitment sucked when I first installed it. Ended up taking the car to a shop who bent one of the metal hangers to straighten the canisters.

Invidia has designed a single version of the Q300 as well. Prototypes have been sent to some vendors for testing. Should be interesting to see how it compares in volume and gains to the 70mm dual.

Mark, when did you install your Q300? Other than what I mentioned earlier,
the alignment of the canisters seems pretty good and BELIEVE ME I am, ok
I'll say it....ANAL about how it lines up because if it didn't line up right, to
me it would look cheap.

Installed in March of this year. If yours fit well out of the box, you're luckier than me. Mine looked awful at first--like it had been rained on by sledgehammers and then trampled by a parade before installation.

Oh wow that sucks Mark. Mine was in perfect shape out of the box.

Is it possible I got the V4 and you got the V3?

thanks for the post Mike!

Hmmmm, got me wondering if maybe my problem with that one side
hanging too low is because of the rubber retainers falling off. I will check
that after work.

When the rubber hangers fall off it'll look different, like your exhaust is really sagging. I think that the pipes just warmed up enough and that the clamp loosened enough to move. Just re-adjust and crank it down real good.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too, thanks Kenta!

Can't drive it anyway, still only on 3 tires.

Mark, did the OEM exhaust of your 2005 have triangular hangers on the rear of the exhaust cans?

My 2007 has those. On both of the exhaust cans, there is a forward hanger/hook and a V-shaped hanger/hook on the back of the cans. The V-shaped hooks on the back of the cans hangs on a single hook to the car frame. So a triangular shaped rubber hanger is used.

Did your OEM have this? If so, did the Q300's hangers match this design???

Not too old to bring back up...

My OEM exhaust, 05, had the traingular shaped rubber hangers on the back of the mufflers.

From what I could tell, the Q300 did not, so I bought some of the regular rubber hangers used on the front 3 hangers of the exhaust (one on each muffler and the forward piece for the pipe) from Honda. Less than $5 a piece.

Worked out better and stopped the exhaust from shifting too much side to side.

Hope that helps.

NH Guy, your installation looks great! I'm considering the same exhaust (70mm) as well. What type of paint did you have the tubing done in? I never considered doing this until I saw yours.
