Sleet & freezing rain here for the past several hours. All the areas where the snow had melted off are now covered again

I was glad to see the temps finally dip below freezing again. I was reluctant to leave the house Saturday. It got to the point where my sump pump was kicking on every 30 seconds.

My neighbor's entire back yard was a pond.

sheet of ice below a layer of snow and more is coming down.

I may just stay home instead of driving on the ice.

Got somewhere around 1 1/2 to 2 ft of new snow, still coming down like crazy, high winds, at least it is warm at 18 before going below zero tonite. Big mess! Took sick day day...sounds like everything in the area is closed today...even the malls!

I feel for you guys that are getting slammed! My nephew is in Syracuse and he's had it with winter too.

We were fortunate to get rain with this storm. Most of our snow is gone, but I doubt you really wanted to hear that.

The Schenectady region and thereabouts had a good sheet of ice and then a good 4-5 inches of snow on top this morning. I drove the wifey to work in the Tacoma and man does it haul good in the snow! Warmer temps and perhaps rain by the end of the week here though. Keep fingers crossed.
