Mark - wish you had come as well as the Jeff, Hogan & Keith.
The rain was sparse and 99% of the drive was topdown. No hydroplaning or flooding kind of rain anywhere. We lucked out. More bugs on the windshield than rain today.
Thanks to Jeff for organizing this and thanks to Levi, Karla & Aric for the T-shirts. It was good to meet old friends and new faces. Conzett, great to meet you man. I hope we'll get to see you again this season.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at Big Zip in 2 weeks time.

The official T-shirt. Everyone that asked for one, got one. Thanks Karla & Levi
The "Shirt" running the drivers meeting at the start
His advice - buzz the locals, race with a prius and don't let tailgating pick up trucks slow you down
Cars at the meeting - Ryan (Lurch's) Civic Si came along too
At the Keene air strip for a photo op. People wandering everywhere when they were asked to stand next to their cars
Mountain backdrop
Still bears the dust and scars from Watkins Glen - I'm getting lazy
Group pic - the idea was to stand next to Levi's car. That worked well
Conzett trying to start the car up old school
Lunch stop - this was the same place we stopped for lunch on the first solidarity drive. It was nice to go back there 5 years down the line. Who would have thought this would become an annual tradition
Headchef "bet this dive serves terrible food. Some place that "shirt" fella brought us to"
Rob appears to be memorizing the menu
"The Shirt" looking worried thinking Champy would pounce at him from the lake
Yet another stop for a photo op. Five years ago the three cars that attended the drive also stopped here. It was special to stop here again 5 years later
Levi photobombing a pic of Headchef detailing his car
Lurch and I parked close together. As you all know I have an affinity for anything with an Si badge on it
At the end of the drive. Look, no rain
The Shirt could very well be competing to outbid me for my future car. He thinks it matches "The Shirt". I know Rob has promised to only sell the car to me

It was a great drive with some great peeps! Thanks for the drive and especially thanks Jeff for the stay at the cabin on the lake!! That place was really nice...its not really a camp like he says people, he was just being humble! I will not be there for the drive coming up next I will be in Iowa for 10 days of vacation with the family.
