Ed Heyman gave me a couple of pictures yesterday.

This is from very early in my racing "career" at Pocono, probably going out for my second or third run.



And here I am holding up traffic coming out of turn 4 at Lime Rock in June.



I will be making the final adjustments and loading the car on the trailer for Montecello on July 9th.

Aashish, some would suggest that I already have a cheater engine:




Although I expect to run the MGA at Montecello on July 9th (billed as a test and tune day), I'm now planning to do a SCDA day at Montecello (Monday July 26th) or New Hampshire Motor Speedway (August 23rd), probably with the Honda.

Unless I don't like the track on July 9th, I'd prefer to do Montecello since it's closer, but I have some scheduling issues. Ian said the S2000 is acceptable at both tracks.

I need some track time with an instructor.

Jeff, I've been thinking about another school this season as well. I think seat time with an instructor will be quite helpful for you especially considering you drive the MG A by yourself (with Disgruntled riding shotgun - a bad idea).

When is the Monticello date? Once I get home I'll post a video of Monticello one of my instructors posted. Actually you can search for TrackratM3 on YouTube and should be able to find it.

Montecello is Monday, July 26th.

After that it is October 4th for the next Montecello date.

I'm not sure I can do July 26th, but there is a "refer a friend" program and we would both get $50 off.

Maybe Mark can be Disgruntled's "friend". That way Disgruntled could try to bum the rest of the entry fee off of him rather than pestering me.
