^ Monticello is a lot of fun from what I've heard and seen. I want to go there someday as well. SCDA has a one day school there this summer.

Maybe I'll come watch you race at Monticello if visitors are allowed since its little over an hour from Albany

Sure sounds like you have a busy summer planned...any time for Lincoln Pond?

Monticello is 20 minutes from me, I will definitely plan to watch you there!

Lime Rock is not that far either, please post up Race Dates as you have them!

When I was towing the S600s around, we found that a garden trailer was the perfect size for that little of a car.

I believe it was a 12 foot trailer with steel beams all the way around and a nice big drive up ramp/tail gate. It was light weight at 900 lbs and was so well balanced that you could move the trailer around by hand when necessary.

Found one on a home depot lot that had a couple scratches on the paint - obviously used and returned and they gave us $200 of the list price of $800 at the time.

Far as I know the ex still has the trailer after 12+ years. Very low maintenance, just like a wood deck, sand and protect the wood planks every once in awhile.

Although I mostly painted the living room this weekend, we did go to Lime Rock Saturday morning for an hour to see the vintage racers. Clouds let loose as soon as we arrived, so mostly hung around watching the rain. Lots of cars leaving after a great day for racing on Friday.

Sunday morning, repaired/patched the oil pan on the MGA so I hope the #2 major oil leak will be resolved. That will just leave the #3 major oil leak, but I'm pretty sure I have figured that one out.

New VSCCA Log Book arrived in the mail on Friday. With anticipated fixes for the oil leaks and with a trailer (unregistered) sitting in the drive, I am going to send my registration fee in for the Lime Rock event for June 4th and June 5th.

I (as in JJ & I) may show up to root for you, provided move-in goes smoothly and according to plan.

What times will you be there? We may be there either on Saturday or Sunday?

I don't think Lime Rock allows racing on Sunday, something about a local noise ordinance? Most 2 day events are Friday and Sat.

I may be able to come on Sat for a bit, depending on finances and such.

I think it will be Friday afternoon, say 1 to 4, and Saturday morning, say 9 to 1. I'm not sure if we will be running with the Jaguar club cars, or alternating runs. Everytime I have gone, I've just signed a waiver of liability to get in.

I think that's why Lime Rock does not attract larger venues like Rolex or IRL, most of them want to put on a big 3 day show with main event racing on Sunday.

Too bad since this is pretty close. Now if only some BIG events would come to Monticello! That's only 20 minutes away

Sent in my entry and check for Montecello on July 9th. 1.6 miles and 11 turns, some tight, on the South Course.

Been working to try to make sure the car is ready. I'll have to figure out if I can change the rear end on the fly as I'd like to try running with both differentials.

Still don't know what my status is with respect to the VSCCA license. Assuming they let me drive, I hope I don't spend all day in 3rd.
