Jeff (blueosprey90) goes racing in his MG A

I spent some heavy cash yesterday on the Skippy 3 day driving school, so I have to defer indefinitely any plan to buy a transponder or data collection system.
In the middle of my spin in October, it occurred to me that when the car was smashed into the Aarmco barrier was not the best time to be telling myself that I should have gone to a professional driving school.
Unfortunately, I don't think the bleed is over. Nancy has gotten the idea that if I do the school on the west coast or down south, she could parlay that into a little vacation trip for herself.

^ I like Nancy's idea Jeff. Laguna Seca followed by a trip around California or Road Atlanta followed by a stay at the Biltmore would be awesome. You could also drive to Spartanburg SC and check out the BMW factory there and pay a visit to the Zentrum.

So Jeff, where have you been?
I would think you are spending your days burning rubber on the Road Atlanta Circuit or at Laguna Seca, and spending quality time with Nancy in the evenings.
Please let us know how you have been doing?

Jeff I thought it would be better if I posted here, so it does not get lost in the off-topic thread.
Here is a thread from Ferrari Chat that someone in your situation started about choosing between the Skip Barber tracks and cars. I hope this will give you more of an insight as to what would be the best option for you.

Picked up this little tidbit on the MG Experience forum:
"The MGA S2000 VETC conversion was done by John Hoyle, it was featured in the MG Enthusiast magazine of June 2010. Contact www.hoyle-engineering.co.uk for details on the conversion. It is very expensive. "
Hmmm?
Is that an idea that can help increase my lap times?
