Default How do I make "Maintaince" light go away?

My maintainence light is on...therez a trick with the key and something I know but not exactly. How do I get that light to dissappear?

To reset the maintenance required indicator, turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position, then press and hold the trip meter reset button while you turn the ignition switch ON. Continue holding the button until the indicator resets (the indicator light goes out).

PS - The maint req'd light starts blinking at 6000 miles (since last reest) and will stay lit at 7000 miles (since last reset).

Who needs a library when most of the authors live in upstate.

Actually, if I remember correctly, it's in the owner's manual...

It actually is in the manual... Not sure if any noticed, but I copied what I wrote word for word from the manual. Pg. 51 for MY2003 manual.
