Default Hardtop hoist

Here are some photos of the Hardtop hoist I made a couple of weeks ago.

I used 1/2" round rod steel and bent and welded them to shape and then wrapped them in pipe insulation and then threaded the ends and added those metal loops and nylon straps. It works really well when you dont have a extra set of hands. Once I get it off of the car I remove the car and then lower it on a pvc stand that I also made.

Very cool.
I like the fact you don't leave it on the hoist for extended periods and put it in the stand. Ghe seals don't deform that way. Nice job Brian.

Looks really good. If you wern't such a sally you could just lift it up yourslef though. Just kidding. I really like how that keeps it up in the air and off the floor and most importantly out fo the way, and it looks great too. Well done!

Sometimes it is wiser to use the brain and not the brawn.
