EricN was probably the first AFAIK. He even has the license plate to prove it. 
Also, Jeff Guerdat bought his fairly early, as well. I waited until 2001 to buy mine (It was a tough wait

Of course! In fact, I might arrive slightly early, have breakfast and then free up the table when the rest of you arrive. Otherwise, there probably won't be any place to sit.
