Fee Fi Fo Fum,
I smell the paint of a Berlina,
Be it not a spa but a Berlina,
I shall crush its shell for my daily brew

The major plant seems to be averaging 2" per day at this point.
Last night it was up 8.25" from where it was on Sunday night.
I have to say, I'm having a lot of fun with this little project.
This Sunday I have 2 more plants to put into the ground. I'm not expecting these to grow as well as the others because they are almost a month behind and they are a dryroot plant so they are really going to take a while to kick in. But that's ok, because they should have a great growing season next year, and, although I can't remember the name of this variety, I do know, the pH on these new ones are extreme, super acidic, almost 3-times more acidic than the others I have, which means the Triple-H Plantation should be able to cultivate a nice variety.
Dryroot by the way is something that looks like a dead stick. These things are at my parent's house, in the refrigerator. To get them started you pull them out of the cold, stick them in the ground and hope. All my other plants came as little plants, this dryroot thing is a new thing for me, but Mom assures me, it's normal stuff, so we'll see.

And I'm told, this is slow, wait till we actually get some hot days.
I have read at a hops prime, 5+" per day is not that rare, and some claim they have recorded 9" in a day.
You are right Ellen, I should be able to sit there, have a beer, and watch the silly thing grow.
