UPDATE-
The dryroot don't seem to be doing anything, the plants though are guaranteed, I saved the package so if nothing happens in the next couple of weeks, they will credit my account and I wil get 2-new ones next spring
All the others are growing well, I can't see how they will ever get tall enough to overwhelm the pole and/or trellis, but I have read over and over not to expect much the 1st season, it is even possible I won't even have any fruit this year.

I have yet to figure out where to plant it, but I have an idea
Across the road from my driveway is a 30-foot wild, overgrown area, it is the road access property for the Buddhist temple around the corner from me. I figure this might be the perfect spot to plant the Bamboo, that way if it get's out of control, I won't have to worry about it taking over my property, plus, I not only get to see it, but in the end, I suspect the Buddhist will just think all their great causes allowed them to get this myoho (mystic power/law) effect and will be thrilled to have bamboo on their property.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
Anyways, I got a nice little plant about 2-feet tall from a co-worker, her husband has a huge patch growing at their place in Hilton, so clearly, it can handle our climate zone.
