Got it last night...
Impressions
- holy crap this thing is big, apparently I have never seen a wide screen version
- all of you were right, this thing is very easy to use, the hardest part is remembering where to go to get the feature/function I'm looking for and I'm sure familiarity will solve that in time
- when I took it out of the box and saw the paper thin manual I thought I was screwed, but it really is simple, although, a way better more detailed manual would have been nice...
- what the hell is the memory card slot for in the side of the thing, the paper thin manual does not even mention it?
- did I not get a manual, all I have is a quick start guide, and this super thick book that only has 2 pages of English explaining the horrific tragedy that can befall you for playing with this thing while driving
- is there ANYWAY AT ALL to override the having to hit the I AGREE button to get the thing up and running each and every f'in time?
- my home is not the local sheriff's sub-station, thanks for that
I played with it this morning coming into work, she did not like the route I took, she had to do a lot of re-calculating and I was pleased she did not have a bitch tone when she said she was working on a new route. I did however expect her to thank me when I finally followed her instructions.
Oh and one more thing
What the helll is wrong with you people?
Good grief, why in the helll have none of you ever suggested I get one of these things?

Depending how my time management works out this 1st trip just might be the window suction cup mount in the middle of the truck, as low as it will go. If I have time I'll try the mod to the stand I got.

Here's the pic
I don't want to use the whole thing, the neck connected to the base raises this thing too high, it blocks some of my forward vision over the hood. The plan is to cut a piece of wood that fits into the top dash pocket, screw the neck to that, and then attach the wood with velcro to the dash pocket.
This will move the unit way closer to me which will make it easier to touch and operate.
