You guys might want to read through the other thread in Upstate forum about the bar being started, most of the answers have already been posted there.
I'm less that 5'11" tall; I had this bar built to my objectives. I suspected now that I'm in my 40's I did not have to worry about a sudden growth spurt . The Triple-H Rollbar will not work for all people. But if you are my height and don't like to drive with the back of the seat tilted way back, this bar is an outstanding option.
And if you have a complete set of objectives that this bar does not meet - then e-mail Charlie (address already posted in other thread) and have him make you a completely custom bar. His work is very good!

Doug, that looks great! Much better than what the "in progress" pics led me to believe it would look like. One question, can you fit the top boot-cover-thingie on? It looks like it wouldn't squeeze behind the bar. Not a deal breaker but I do use mine frequently.

Another question, is your car significantly quieter with the hard top on? We recently drove to NC and the (I can't believe I'm admitting this) the wind noise, even top up, got a little fatiguing after the first 12 hours.
You must be getting old...

Sorry I'm late to the party. This is the exact bar I have been envisioning. How are the bars mounted to the car? The floor or the shelf behind the seats? Also did you cut a hole for each side of the rear supports in the roof well?
How much would it cost to get a hold of one of these?
Thanks and congrats!

Anybody make a bar in PLACE of the factory roll bar? I would like to find someone who can build a roll bar that has the same contours as the stock, plastic covered bars. Anyway, it's important that the seats have full movement.
Any ideas?
