Default Exhaust Help

Hey S2k,

I just bought my 2nd S2000 last week or so. Its all stock and TOO QUIET! I had an Invidia N1 Dual on my first car and it was fun and gave me a "bad" reputation in town of waking everyone up in the morning. I loved it! But wasnt really good when I took a girl in the car or let my family borrow the car. They hated it. So... I have been looking at the Invidia Q300 dual now. What are your thoughts on this? How does it compare to the N1 Invidia? Anyone selling either exhaust around here?

Thanks

Addictuned S2k

I love my Q300 dual! Makes the S sound like it should but it's not obnoxious.

I posted a thread in this forum some time back, search for Mark's Invidia Q300 install.

^ The Q300 is the way to go. Exhaust note is sharp and not at all jarring.

Fujitsobo Legalis R (correct me if I got the name wrong Jeff) is also a nice exhaust.

I've heard that as well, but also heard it's considerably more expensive.

Bought my Fujitsubo used. It's awesome.
If I had to buy new, Q300 without a doubt.
I put one on Hogans... and once we got it fitted right, it looks and sounds perfect.
Very nice exhaust.

My hope is to buy used for under $500 shipped or picked up somewhere local.

I love my berk 3" single. Quiet when you are not in vtec but sings in it. It is quieter than most 2.5 inch singles and I'm working with berk to make a tip silencer for when you have a very long trip. This isn't for me... But rather my girl friend . She thinks the exhaust is a ton quieter than my old megan 2.5 inch and it is a header back. Looks great, sounds great and gave me 12 HP at peak, gains throughout in both torque and hp. This compared to the megan single. Overstock its most likely more. I got pics and sound clips are online too if you want me to find them for you. Plus its cheap.
