Deal on tires
Just thought I'd give a heads-up. Tire Rack is closing out the RE050A. I bought 205/55-16s and 225/50-16s for $79 a tire. The original price was $140. They didn't have a 245/45-16, but with my big swaybar, I'm not too worried about it.

Although $79 is a great price.
I'm buying 4 of these this winter as track rains and extra streets, I can't wait to see how well they do. I'm getting 205/55-16 and 245/45-16

I run 205/225 using the Bridgestone RE-01Rs with no problems at all with a big-ass front swaybar. These tires don't have as much stagger as the S02s but are better than most 205/225 combos.
For that matter, the use of 205/225 *anything* is fine on the street - you shouldn't be at the limit there in the first place. Yep, there's always the potential road hazard where you can use all the grip you can muster but usually the limitation isn't tire stagger, it's driver input...

They don't offer 245/45-16

Of course, you could have completely read my first post before asking!

I had a blast on 205 all around! Had to be careful and smooth with the right foot though. I could definitely have used more tire during the track day though, I was always chasing the tail of the car.
