Cool Congratulations! Mister or Master Gillmeister

Saw Gilly's post in the thread started by the new person out of Syracuse.

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/872...t__p__20634111

Thought we should have a thread congratulating him and wishing him all the best for the future and all that comes next as in more money, job security (or the lack of it), lesser and lesser time to spend on hobbies and more time at work, wives, babies and all that jazz.

You have done well Gilly and I'm sure your parents are very proud of you just as we are. You stuck to the task diligently it appears and also seem to have landed a secure employment opportunity. How many grads out there that can lay claim to that? So pat yourself on the back on our behalf (please ensure that you dont sprain your back in doing so) and welcome back to the real world. Here is hoping that your higher education will work out well for you and all that you choose to do

Good luck Gilly. My best wishes

See the very last post!

Thanks for sharing that Jeff. No wonder it seemed like just yesterday. In a little over a year he has done well for himself.

thanks everyone!!!

Jeff, I updated the job thread.

I have been working for a company called Novatec for the past year here in Baltimore.

I'm happy to report that i'll be switching from full time hourly to full time salary next week.

Also, I'm very happy that I will no longer be living the dual life as full time student and full time employee. Having nights and weekends back has already done wonders for my relationship with my girlfriend as we had a chance to travel this past weekend and see a few movies this past week as well as celebrate her birthday a few weekends ago.

the complaint of "not spending enough time together" has been fixed as i told her it would be as soon as i graduated

again, thanks everyone!!
