I drive normal. Getting these for my daily driver.

Curious, why wouldn't you buy another set for the S2000?

I delayed quite a bit ordering these as the s2000 tires took priority. Ordered over the weekend from Jim@tirerack and got the tires on Monday. Had them put on the car at a local shop as Albany Speed Shop closes early and I have road trips in my near future. That was Monday night. Since then I have driven over 30 miles.

The first thing that struck me was how quiet they were and how well they seemed to grip compared to the Hankook Ventus V12 K EVO 110 I used to have on the car. This tire is as silent as the Hankook but I think has a stiffer sidewall. Inspires confidence on turn-in which is a big plus.

Not sure how they will wear and perform over the long run, but I am impressed by what I've seen so far. I am thrilled with the purchase and thanks to everyone for their recommendation on this tire.

I would not have issues driving with these tires on track either. Tread looks awesome to handle rain and the stiff sidewall appears to be a plus. Maybe I'll take the Si to an autocross to see how these tires handle.

If any of you needs a good tire with good handling characteristics for street and the occasional track or autocross or group drive, you would not go wrong with this tire. Don't let the low price make you think it's poor quality. It is a quality product.

My new set seem a little better than the last.
Probably psychosomatic, but the fresh HTR3's feel really good.

^ I'm a convert. Maybe they changed the compound. I was reading about them and it looks like they also own rights to Dunlop.

And they have a $50 mail in rebate too so this has to be the cheapest set of tires out there now.

Have to add here I eked out 30k miles from the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO k110. That's very good for a summer tire. I put those on at 20k miles and the odometer is now almost at 60k miles. Factor in 10k miles on the snows as I try not to drive much in the winters.

Isn't that what I'm running?

You should have taken my car out on track for a test ride.

^ yes that's what you are running. As much grip as the extreme tires offer I think I had more fun driving the car on harder compounds.
