Calling all who run Sumitomo HTR ZIII
Need new tires for the Si. I was initially thinking another set of Hankooks or Continental DWs, but the low price of the Sumi's($78) and their tread wear rating (300) appealed to me.
I know several of you use this tire and I wanted your opinion. You run this tire on the S2000 which in a sense speaks volumes of how much you approve of the tire. I on the other hand will be using it for a daily driven car. Keep in mind this tire will see urban potholes, highway driving, rain and everything but snow.
Let me know what you guys think. I welcome your thoughts.

I run them, but I think I've only really run them for two track days at Lime Rock, plus driving back and forth. They seem like good tires with more stick than the Bridgstone Potenzas that came stock on the car, but still a good wear rating. I don't sense that they are particularly loud. I don't have any negatives on them.

Aash, I've still got my 17" tires from the Mugen set up in my garage if ya want them. The fronts are I believe 215/45-17 Bridgestone Potenza RE010A's and the rears are 245/40-17 Bridgestone RE11's. Sell to ya real cheap too. They have some wear but mostly on the rears.

I did not like those tires on my car, but if you are not aggressive and just drive normal they are a pretty decent tire. But don't expect them to hold as well as some higher priced performance summer tires in the summer heat…they get greasy fast
