I agree with skipping traffic. Can't wait for the Zipp!

There was some reason, Dave, why I had not indicated that I was coming to this event. Of course, I had no idea what it was.

But it now occurs to me that I have a long scheduled "association" meeting on the morning of August 3rd. And since I'm hosting it, and since I'm the treasurer and have all of the money - meager pickings though they may be - my absence will be noted. Suspicions will be raised if I'm not there.

Sorry I can't come. Hope you have good weather and a great drive.

Big Zipp update.

Total distance 160 miles
Meet & Greet at Northbound rest stop just above exit 9 of the Northway (87) at 9am Sat. Aug. 3rd
Takeoff time is 9:30am-we need to keep on schedule in order to arrive at Halfmoon Sandwich Shoppe on time.
(They close at 4pm on Saturdays)

Reminders: Make sure you have a full tank of gas-this is a long drive.
Check your fluids and tire pressures
Weather forecast looks good 79-80 ish
After last years hot drive it is recommended that you toss a small cooler in the trunk with a couple
bottles of water. ( Freeze them the night before and you'll have ice water on the drive)
Bring two-way radios if you have em set to channel 7
This drive will have something for everyone- Spirited to Mildly Spirited depending on where you
chose to be in the lineup ( slower pace in the rear)
I promise you that we have some Great roads with serious twisties and mostly newly paved and smooth.
PS: Mark 355 there are no rough curbs and all RR crossings are smooth.
I drove the entire route yesterday for the 4th time and am seriously happy with it-so much so that I
think I'm gonna stick with it every year.
Hope to see a big turnout-you won't be dissapointed!
Oh yeah- Rick (Klaxian) check your battery!

Well Unfortunately The Girlfriend and I will be in Iowa visiting my family so I will miss this drive. Is anyone planning another drive this summer or is this it?
