Some of the bumper car action from the view from some of the cockpits. Could be confused with the Talledega Speedway race.

I checked this thread the last time these two got together … and took each other out. Was surprised at the lack of discussion.
Nico cracks too easily under pressure … he's a head case. His was a desperate move. Lewis had done this to Nico at the USGP and he went wide and off the track. When Nico pushed Lewis this time, Lewis refused to yield.
Lewis was ahead going into the turn … so I would have expected the contact the slice the back of Lewis' front tire and Nico would have lost a small wing element … result: advantage Nico. But that's not how it worked out.
The booing of Lewis (which I have never heard before) was probably part Brexit, part Austrian-German national wounded pride at 'their guy' being taken out.
I really applaud Mercedes letting their drivers race against each other (so far). Remember a decade ago when Ferrari was dominant and the games they played between Schumacher and Barichello? People started to HATE Ferrari for that. You don't want to spend hundreds of millions of dollars in F1 just to make people hate your brand.
Mercedes will be fine. One of their drivers will win the driver championship this year, and their team will win the constructor's title. What more could they want? They need to relax and let things be.

^ Sean - most of the discussion happens on the Auto Racing Discussion section.
I usually don't post here as anything I post may spoil the race for someone. I have posted race results in the past and gotten yelled at
ARD has more discussion related to racing, not just F1 - https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/150...ng-discussion/

On the eve of the British Grand Prix an article about how F1 was blacklisted by the BBC for having a car sponsored by Durex.
