I'm declaring the day the start of my "race" season. Since I came in just about dead last, I picked up right where I left off last year!

I found the karting to be exhausting! After every run, I was out of breath, panting, and very thirsty. Plus I hurt my shoulder a bit. Nothing serious - sore just the way it is after a track or race day. Probably too much pulling down on the wheel.

I decided that my Go-Pro is somewhat broken. The sound is no longer working without the external microphone. But testing with the external mic today, it still seems to pick up sound. So I guess I'll have to take it apart to see what I can see. I'm also not sure if there is something else wrong. I was pretty sure that I was filming for the third run, but got absolutely nothing.

Anyway, I'll have to check it all out. Aashish & I have a track day in 3 weeks and then I have the big tow down to VIR in mid April.

Thanks go out to each of you for attending this event and making it a success. Special thanks to all that drove a long distance only to attend this meet. Your enthusiasm is the real enthusiasm and that keeps this club going. I am glad to be in your company. The success of every meet and drive on this forum is because of its members. And that our little corner of S2KI is so vibrant and active regardless of the fact that we only get 6 months of driving time AND that we have a fraction of active members as the other communities, is only because of all of you. So Thank You and I hope things never go to my head and that I never take you guys for granted.

I was going to keep quiet about the fact that I came in dead last in the first two races. Six seconds of the pace in the first race as in there was a race but I was never in it
