As of right now there are no specific plans, as they are figured out details will be posted, so don't ask, just wait to see...

I believe the date has been set, but then again it might become 10/24 or something other than that if the weather decides to get nasty again. You see the Ottawa guys were going to do an Adirondack Run last weekend, but decided against it because of the cold and rain.

So, watch for details, but be aware, we may very well have a run this weekend.

I have to work this weekend, however if the weather is nice I may skip out early (appx noon). So if I know the route you all are taking I may be able to catch up with you all by 2. All the wind and rain the past week has really done a number on the foilage up this way. I think the long range forcast has it warming to around 60 by fri. I'll keep checking the thread.

One of these days I'll get to do an Upstate run. Not sure if I can make 10/23. I know 10/24 is out.

FLR-SCCA has a Mirrorkhana charity autocross Sunday. Head to head bracket competition. Only one winner!

As an FYI, this run may not happen as a combimed Ottawa Upstate event. I don't have the desire to drive 3.5 hours just to get to the meeting point. I can put together a fun Fall Colors run in this area if anyone other than John wants to join me.

Half way is Watertown, but I think John and I might just do a local run. We are in the Finger Lakes Region and I know this area like the back of my swollen hand so I can pull a fun run together easy.

I think you Ottawa guys ought to stay with your original plan and we should work out the details this winter and do a big Ottawa/Upstate run in the Spring. My parents used to have a 2nd house near Rossie, and that house is responsible for more than half of the 50,000 miles I have on my motorcycle, so I know we can work out a great route that has Watertown as the begin/end point. I also have to consider the Albany and the Southern Tier contingent and I suspect Watertown is nearly a perfect mid-way point for all of us.
