Thanks guys. What's the average pricing? For the normal f not bumper/hood/fenders and mirrors?

P.s if you keep the film on for a prolonged time..lets say 5yrs..does it affect the paint like vinyl wrapping does? Vinyl wrap messed up the paint after 3yrs I read.

Can any 1 chime in on long term use?

if left in the sun it will fade no matter what. I had it on the car for almost 3 years than sold it. always garage kept, and it looked just as good as the day put it on the car.

with the clear bra there is alot more work in detailing your car. waxing takes almost twice as long. and if you get wax where the clear bra ends its a BITCH to get it out. looking back at it I wouldnt do it again. it would cost about 1-2k if i had to guess for what you want. instead of clear bra id rather re paint the bad areas of the car a few years later. if you had an rare or exotic car id say do it, but its a honda id rather repaint and have less hassle day to day. my 2 cents

My guy charged me about $500-600 ish for my STI for quarter hood, quarter fenders, headlights, bumper, door handles and a piece of the rear trunk. He used venture shield which 3m bought. For my S2k, I had a full hood, quarter fenders, headlights, bumper lip, and piece of the rear trunk. The hood was done with xpel ultimate and the rest done with venture shield. Expect to pay about $600-$700. To my knowledge there are not adverse effects on the paint.

As topplayer said, it is a pain when wax gets in where the bra and paint meet. If you manage to get swirls on the bra, its practically impossible to take out. So far the Xpel ultimate is holding up really nice since it has self repairing properties.

His name is Reno and his number is 732-277-9358. He is located in Monmouth Beach, NJ but he can come to you as well if you have a garage.
