Where can I get huge boxes?
Where can I find a HUGE box, like 5-6 foot long, 2 feet high and 2 feet wide? I need a ship a one-piece J's headerback. It was already shipped to me, but I don't feel comfortable shipping it in that box since it has taken a beating. I'm going to wrap it heavily in bubble wrap so it doesn't have the be an amazingly thick rigid box.
Also, if its a 3'x2'x2' box, I can just build a box using two-three of those.
Any ideas? I've tried a fedex store but they don't have boxes that big.

dave it may sound weird, but hit up the mall dumpster. i worked at garden state plaza for like 5 yrs during high school and college and know where the good stuff is. if you go on the side in btwn banana republic and macys (outside) there is a cardboard dumpster on the left. i have gone there for many boxes over the yrs in order to ship stuff ive sold on forums and ebay. its only cardboard in there, so its not that dirty or anything. you just reach in and pull out what you need. or you can attempt to repair the box you have now.

ok so i called a place and they sell the following for $14-15/ each
36x20x32
I would need two of these, so in addition to the cost of shipping, I'd be out $30. Barry, I'll consider rummaging the mall dumpster, but at that point, I might as well use the box it came to me in. It's not terrible, but I just don't feel comfortable shipping a $1300 item in a shit box.
