to meet other s2000 owners and to share in the experience of owning such a wonderful marvel of engineering.
for the wealth of information accumulated by what appears to be a very knowledgeable group of car enthusiasts. The first issue i had with my s2000 that s2ki helped me diagnose was the check engine light caused by a loose gas filler cap. the next issue was the sticky clutch pedal caused by wearing of the clutch slave cylinder rod. And thanks to S2ki i now know that the noise in my engine bay that sounds like a card in a bicycle spoke could be TCT. I would never have been able to figure this out on my own. I'm a complete noob when it comes to car repair.

we've had our fair shares of s2ks (and cars overall), but when we met people here on s2ki we met a family we wanted to stick with. most of it was for learning experience and some of it was to get in touch with those that we share a common interest with. some interest has been lost but that doesn't stop us from lurking around from time to time, both online and at meets.
now we've (more like s2000spoon) has joined the mr_z club.

im here because there are other people on this site that share the same love for cars (and more importantly this car) that i do.
and cause i am the only one in my area that owns a s2k that likes cars lol

Purchased my '05 s in January. Joined to learn more about my car - did not realize that within 4 months I would have met people through a meet already, found a great mechanic, moved from detailing to considering a mod, realized I'm a pretty conservative driver, and become ready to try autocross...
I feel like I've lost my mind but am in good company...

joined to explorer the s2000 world. stayed on forums and feel like family to some members i have met off this forums and i enjoyed every meet i attended. so i guess main reason is for cool people i am here

I joined at first to do research. Then I saw the metro section, started talking to people, and went to meets. Now, I couldn't think of owning my s2k without knowing the people on this forum. Knowing people that have the same enthusiasm for cars as you do, and even better, getting them together in person in one place, is-i think-fantastic.
