what do you pay to insure your car?
just curious what some of you pay for insurance. let us know your age, driving record and other special circumstances that may affect your price.
i think i'm getting jerked with Allstate, i'm paying $3,000 a year for full coverage. i'm 27 in a month, one accident in december '05 (was paying the same before it) and no points on my license.
anyone recommend a different insurer? thanks for your help.

I am 29, have GEICO and have 2 cars (S and the Jetta) clean record/unmarried and also own a home.
50/100K liability, comp ($500 deductible/collision ($500 deductible) on the S only.
total 1 year = ~$1300.

I just received my Geico renewal package last week and it was a pleasant surprise, down 20%. It comes out to about 1250 per year.
S and Accord. Minimum liability, comp but no collision on either car. Age 42.
Thinking about getting my home owners insurance thru Geico also, right now it's at Allstate.

$1,400 a year.
Full coverage.
$500.00 deductible
I'm 40+ years old...but have a 20 yr old in the house who could potentially drive it, so it's reflected in the rate. (hopefully he's moving out next summer )
No points, no accidents.
Own my own home.
Ins. Co. : Kemper
