I am not sure when the Central Park subforum was created or if it has always been there since NYC METRO became a forum. I do know that is not visited frequently and it shows.

Do you feel we should can it and move all the topic in there? Maybe change it to another forum for Offtopic? If this is the case, all OT threads like videos and whatnot would be moved there from the main forum. This way the main forum has the meets posted, questions about the s2000, questions about the area, for sale, you know, the stuff that's here now.

Please give other suggestions. Lets make use of it if it was given to us.

Talk to the COs, they're the ones in charge.

Someone at some time thought it was necessary.

 

anything posted in there will get overlooked.

It should be used for thread that are not related to NY metro S2K community.

i.e.
things that should be in Central Park.
- Jokes.
- news that are outside of this community.

threads that should be in main forum.
- meetings and related.
- any S2K realated matter.

ask questions when you are not sure where it should be. thanks.

 

How about all the stickies? I do not feel many people look up there. We can de-sticky:

1. spotted
2. metro owners list (hasnt been updated in 3 years)
3. shopper guide (i always see new threads on recommendations on whatever so that is also outdated)
4. used s2000 parts (these cars are not even local, and we can post wtb in for sale section of this site)
5. birthday thread (i dont understand why it's up there)

i don't post here much but enough to know that no one really uses the central park forum.. i didn't realize it existed until this thread.. i think if we really used the CP forum for all the non s2k-related topics, the main forum would be dead lol
