if you can hear the starter spinning even after you let go of the car,

it is the starter sticking.

Its a common problem on the S. It gets very annoying. This is how I prevent mine from doing that.

I press the starter button (a split second) just enough to spin the starter but not start the engine. Wait 2 seconds then start normally.

So I guess Im not the only 1 with this problem lol.....

And it sounds like its mostly on cold start ups maybe when the weather breaks and warms up it wont do it as much or at all but if its not damaging anything I guess I can live with thanks for the help guys!!

yea i have this also, and like everyone said only when it's cold and it doesn't happen that much either
