I really liked the soft focus she uses... and the fact that the photographs don't look "posed"... She's got a great way with lighting...

that the amature will not know how to doo....
make sure u see his work..and its his work...theres plenty of times i see ppl pay for a photographer and a lighting assistant (which i suggest u always have)..and they get this young teen who thinks hes the shiz at taken the most random shots in the whole world....cause its artistic.....ahhh thats bs...
the main idea bout photo is capturing ever part of your special day..not futzing with f-stops and lighting effects...!!!
looks around and find someone that u feel will shoot the best for u...THATS IT!

Worst case senario - I will just have my aunt take some photos... She's a professional photographer but specializes in still life.
You should check out my friend's wedding videography... He's extremely skilled...Degree in Film from Columbia... (psychologist by day) does documentaries and wedding vids on the weekends... he no longer works for this company, but they still use his video.
